Tonight for supper Glen and I had Spaghetti Squash mixed with garlic, tomatoes, feta cheese and black olives (olives were for me only). We are trying to eat more vegetables and less meat. No real desire to go vegetarian, we just enjoy a lot of different vegetables. We had garlic toast on the side.
Mini family vacation to Traverse City and Leelanau Peninsula yielded many wonderful food and wine experiences. First one was a recommendation for supper at the Jolly Pumpkin on Old Mission Peninsula. Glen and Mallory had wild mushroom pizzas, and I had an open faced vegetable sandwich consisting of zucchini, yellow squash, eggplant and onion with balsamic vinegar on top on sourdough bread. Very Yummy!!
